Treatments consist of soft/deep tissue massage, joint articulation/mobilisation, joint manipulations, muscle energy techniques, exercise, stretching etc. If you have any concerns regarding any aspects of treatment, please raise this with your Osteopath, who will be more than happy to discuss it with you.

Osteopathy is considered a primary healthcare and GP referral is not needed.  However, if you have health insurance, please check the policy wording as some require an initial GP referral before agreeing to pay for osteopathic treatment.

Acute pain sometimes only takes a few visits to treat whereas chronic pain or condition may require ongoing maintenance.

Most treatments are backed up by self-help information, lifestyle advice, and rehabilitation exercises.
